The fluffiness and texture of chenille yarn depend on the length and uniformity of the pile, so high-quality raw materials with consistent fiber length and moderate strength are essential. Before loading the machine, the raw materials should be inspected for impurities and lumps, and appropriate opening should be performed to prevent yarn blockage and breakage.

 

Second, precise equipment commissioning is essential. Before starting the machine, check the clearance between the rollers, cutter, and yarn guide to ensure even cutting of the pile. Tension adjustment is crucial-overtightening can easily lead to yarn breakage, while overtightening can affect yarn density. It is recommended to gradually adjust parameters through trial spinning of small samples to find the optimal balance. Furthermore, the gear ratio directly affects yarn count and must be strictly matched to order requirements.

 

During operation, routine maintenance is essential. Regularly clean the machine of accumulated dust and lubricate transmission components to prevent increased wear. As a consumable part, the cutter blade requires frequent inspection for sharpness and prompt replacement after blunting. Failure to do so will result in uneven cutting of the lint, affecting the appearance of the finished product. Operators should also be familiar with the location of the emergency brake and immediately stop the machine for investigation if any yarn breakage or jamming occurs.

 

Finally, worker skills training is a long-term guarantee. Although chenille machines are highly automated, fine-tuning parameters still relies on experience. Regular technical exchanges are recommended to share solutions to common problems, such as quick fixes for roller slippage and lint entanglement.
